Yes, Children usually have lunch first, then the club session, followed by a break with time for them to use the toilets before returning to their afternoon sessions.

Yes, most are teaching their native language or have lived for some time in a country where that is the main language spoken.
Is there lots of homework?
No, this is a fun session.
What are the sessions like?
They are much more like a children’s party than a formal lesson, as children learn through play, activities and songs.
Do the children have to sit still?
No, The club sessions are active and include drama, action songs and games as well as an activity sheet.

If you are leaving the club or school, please give at least half a term’s notice.
Can the parents watch?
Parents cannot attend a club session but the teachers are always willing to give individual feedback.
What are the payment rules?
We offer 10 sessions for £70 (Lunch club) and £90 (After school club).
For insurance reasons, parents need to pay before the first session or we cannot accept the children.
We also strongly suggest that you buy the entry package; it contains the 3 Activity books (1 per term which is given to the child at the beginning of each term) and we we use these and the songbook at each session. The entry pack is a one off fee of £19.
The student is responsible for their booklet and our teachers write a note on the last page of the book to ensure that the child participated in the club - it might have a comment too.
The activity book is essential and parents need to be sure that their child brings it to every session. If it's lost or damaged we can provide another one at £5 fee.
Can I cancel my membership?
After the first session, yes. If for any reason parents do not wish their child to continue, we offer a refund for the full membership, less £5 for admin fee. We also refund the booklet as long as it's in perfect condition.
We cannot, however, refund membership after the second session.
What are the fees to make a cancelation before the session start?
If you decide to cancel your membership before the session start and you have made your payment using our partner Gocardless we'll send you a copy of your payment and will refund to you by bank transfer the full money that ChildrensClubs has received. Unfortunately Gocardless fees are not refundable.
