CLUB TRAFALGAR MONDAY
SARAH BUCKTOWAR
TERM SPRING 2018

Our aim is to ensure children understand and learn to love the culture of France and to gain good listening and speaking skills. We use lively role play, games, bingos, songs and activities to make French culture both enjoyable and memorable.
It is a pleasure to teach your children and I hope they enjoy as much as we do. If you have specific questions, please see me after the club or send an email to sarah@childrensclubs.com

FIRST HALF TERM

TOPIC THEMES
The children understand the routine of the club very well. Overall they are becoming more confident, however different children are at ease in different topics, and they are all trying really hard to get the pronunciation right.

We continue with the usual greetings at the start of the class : “Bonjour Madame Sarah” (Hello Mrs Sarah) - “Comment ça va?” (How are you?) - “ça va bien” (I am fine) - “ça va mal” (I am not good) - “ça va comme ci, comme ça “ (so so).
I have explained to the children what la galette des rois is and what happens when we have a little figurine or else in our slice. We have revised the vocabulary of “le sandwich – le petit déjeuner – les boissons”. We have talked about “la chandeleur” and learned the ingredients to make “des crèpes”. We regularly work on numbers up to 20 and colors.
