FIRST HALF TERM:
TOPIC THEMES – Breakfast food & drinks
VOCABULARY – Each lesson we practice greetings and basic polite words, we revise numbers and colours and key presentation questions/answers (basic vocabulary). We have looked at different food we eat/drink ‘Je mange/je bois’, especially at breakfast and practice polite words to order a breakfast: “Pour le petit-déjeuner, je voudrais …s’il vous plait“
Des céréales, du lait, la baguette/le pain, le croissant, le sucre, la confiture (cereals, milk, bread, sugar, jam) le jus d’orange, de l’eau minérale, du coca, un café, un chocolat chaud, un thé ; une limonade (orange juice, mineral water, coca cola, coffee, hot chocolate, tea and limonade)
J’aime/ je n’aime pas (I like /I dislike) and also j’adore/je déteste (I love/I hate)
Year3-6 have also looked at droite/gauche ‘Tiens voila main droite…’
