Chennestone - French - Progress Report
Summer Chennestone School
TEACHERS Carol Tribe , Grace Venkatasawmy
Our aim is to ensure children understand and learn to love the culture of France and to gain good listening and speaking skills which will hold them in good stead for the rest of their life. We use lively role play, games, bingos, songs and activities to make French culture both enjoyable and memorable.
It is a pleasure to teach your children and I hope they enjoy the club. If you have specific questions, please see me after the club or send an email to email@example.com
For the first five weeks we have been learning and practising previously learnt words and sentences including:
Comment t’appelles-tu? (What are you called?), Quel âge as-tu ? (How old are you?), Comment ça va ? (How are you ?), colours and numbers 1 to 30.
We also started new topics:-

4. De qu’elle couleur est ce t-shirt? Qui veut un t-shirt?
5. Revise fruits and vegetables.
At the end of each session we do an activity sheet related to the subject of the day. The children are always encouraged to use the French vocabularies they have learned while they talk in class.
We will continue to review and build on the topics covered.
