Alexandra French - Progress Report
CLUB: ALEXANDRA INFANT
TEACHER: BAHAR MOMENI
TERM: SUMMER 2019
Our aim is to ensure children understand and learn to love the culture of France and to gain good
listening and speaking skills. We use lively role play, games, bingos, songs and activities to make
French culture both enjoyable and memorable.
It is a pleasure to teach your children and I hope they enjoy as much as we do. If you have specific
questions, please see me after the club or send an email to email@example.com
GAMES AND ACTIVITIES:
We always start each session with greeting and basic polite words. We play games like Chinese
whisper to say and repeat the new vocabularies, “bingo”, “Jacques a dit”(the French version of
Simon says) to help children learn vocabularies through actions and miming (each week new actions
are added up to the old ones). We try to revise the vocabularies learned before as well as the
colours and numbers at each session.
we learned: “je suis en colère (I am angry),“je pleure” (I cry), “j’ai peur” (I am scared), “je ris” (I
laugh), “je nage” (I swim) etc…. We try to revise the vocabularies learned before as well as the
colours and numbers at each session.we have been learning the names of fruits and fruit juices (la
pomme: le jus de pomme, l’orange: le jus d’orang etc…); Quelle heure est-il? Il est 2 heures, il est 4
heures etc…; J’ai faim et j’ai soif (I am hungry and I am thirsty. The children are always encouraged
to make sentences with new vocabularies they learn and to repeat the old ones. For each subject we
played the related games and done the related activity sheets.
